Today my coach wanted me to dig deeper. My deadlift was @135lbs and my boxjump was 24″. My lifts were not the issue, it were the jumps. Instead of trying to jump and possibly injuring myself, I did step ups instead. What that did was help me overcome my fear of the 24″ inch height. I didn’t quit. I finished the WOD and helped motivate others who were afraid of tackling their higher boxes.
Next time, I will jump that box.
